About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Operating Room – Pennsylvania

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (9:00 AM - 7:30 PM), one weekend every six weeks. On-call and holiday coverage are optional. No floating required.

Highlights:

• Level II Trauma Center with approximately 19 operating rooms averaging 50 cases per day
• Scrub experience required across multiple specialties including total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic cases
• Epic charting system with comprehensive orientation support (12 hours)
• Diverse case mix including general surgery, gynecology, neurology, orthopedics, urology, vascular, thoracic, ENT, endoscopy, and trauma procedures
• Experience with advanced equipment including electrosurgical units, fiber-optic systems, cell saver, Hana Table, and Steris technology
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience; scrubs provided

Requirements:

• Pennsylvania or Compact State RN license required upon submission
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience with Level II Trauma experience required
• General OR experience with laparoscopic-assisted case experience required
• Proficiency in scrubbing total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic cases required
• Experience with trauma procedures, code response, fire safety, latex allergy precautions, and malignant hyperthermia protocols required
• Competency in blood and blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, universal protocol/time-out procedures, urinary catheterization, and wound management required
• Preferred experience includes orthopedics, urology, endoscopy, vascular, thoracic, neurology and neuro spine, bariatrics, plastics, ENT, podiatry, and transplant procedures
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Valid references and certification documentation required at time of application
• Pennsylvania state fingerprinting and background clearances required
