Medical Center Pediatrics Lpn Position

Medical Center Pediatrics is seeking a Full-Time LPN with strong clinical judgment for phone triage and patient care efforts. While this role includes direct clinical support, we are specifically looking for a candidate who excels at assessing patient needs over the phone and coordinating urgent care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Expert Phone Triage: Serve as the first point of clinical contact for parents; assess symptoms, provide evidence-based advice, and prioritize appointments under physician guidance.
• Care Coordination: Manage prescription refills, relay lab results, and facilitate communication between families and the healthcare team.
• Direct Patient Care: Perform vitals, administer medications/vaccines, and assist with in-office procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous EHR records for all phone consultations and clinical encounters to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Valid Michigan LPN License. Prior experience in triage or a fast-paced pediatric setting is highly preferred. Exceptional "phone-side manner" and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong critical thinking skills to differentiate between routine concerns and emergencies.
