Caregiver Position Available

Working as a caregiver at Senior Helpers North Metro provides a unique opportunity for a truly rewarding career in a field you can be proud of. We are open to any and all availability, whether that's four-hour minimum shifts to 12-hour shifts and 24/7 clients, we want you to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, empathetic and someone who is motivated by helping others and the aging population create a better quality of life and allow them to age in their home for as long as possible.

Pay Range: $19 - $21 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with all Activates of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned. This could include assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• 1:1 caregiver to client ratio
• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation, building a rapport and participating in client hobbies or activities.
• Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client's physical condition, mental capability or behavior.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate - you enjoy helping others
• Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
• Valid driver's license, reliable and insured transportation
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, medical and nursing assistance and/or CNA/HHA/PCA certification.
