Store Sales AssociateThe Store Sales Associate is a key member of the US Commercial team and plays an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. This position supports retail and contractor customers by providing product recommendations, color matching, order support, and outstanding service.Reporting to the Store Manager, the Store Sales Associate helps drive sales success while maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused store environment.The starting pay rate for this role is $16.00/hour.This position is scheduled within typical store hours:Monday – Friday: 7am – 5pmSaturday: 8am – 12pmSunday: ClosedKey responsibilities include:Providing exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutionsAssisting retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processingMixing, tinting, and matching paint products according to customer specificationsBuilding knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processesProcessing customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channelsSupporting sales initiatives and contributing to achieving store sales goalsLoading, driving, and delivering customer orders via company vehicleResolving customer concerns and escalating issues when neededSafely handling, loading, unloading, and organizing products for stocking and order fulfillmentMaintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environmentSupporting daily store operations and team priorities as neededQualifications include:Must be at least 18 years of ageValid driver's license required, must pass all background items and physicalCustomer service experience preferred with a team-focused approachStrong communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional mannerAbility to use a computer and keyboard for order processing and customer supportAbility to work scheduled hours as needed, including flexibility based on business needsAbility to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40–60 pounds routinely, including standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouchingAbility to operate a hand truck and/or material handling equipmentSuccess factors include:Strong customer service skills and a customer-first mindsetAttention to detail and accuracy in daily tasksDependability and strong time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn, support the team, and deliver a positive customer experienceApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future).
