- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic diseases in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (subject to credentialing)
- Guide patients and families on health maintenance, wellness practices, and disease prevention
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies within your licensed scope
- Engage in patient follow-ups and ongoing chronic care management
- Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Ensure meticulous documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar specialty
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment paired with a caring approach
- Strong communication skills for engaging well with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues

- Familiarity with EMR systems and telehealth technologies
