Job Description

This role will involve staying informed of current menu items and descriptions, following special events guidelines to ensure event success, handling side duties including stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers, cleaning and assisting with maintaining bar equipment, performing opening/running/closing side duties according to HOB policy, putting all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles, separating glass, cardboard, and plastics per local codes, operating trash compactor per procedures policy, ensuring responsible alcohol service per local ordinance and HOB alcohol policies, ensuring that trash containers are clean, free of odor and lined, maintaining HOB safety and sanitation standards, paring all ice bins to the fullest levels at all times, and paring all bars per venue specifications. Required to occasionally work special events that are scheduled throughout the venue.

Qualifications

Required: Ability to work late hours, flexible schedule, cash handling experience, must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques, skill in interpersonal communication and teamwork, physically able to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed), ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner, tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms, Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent. Preferred: Ability to work late hours, flexible schedule, skills in interpersonal communication and teamwork, tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms, Responsible Alcohol Training Certification or Equivalent, 3 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment, experience recognizing valid ID's, experience in a live music environment.

Physical Demands/Working Environment

Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful. Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet. Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
