About the Role:

INSIPLE Coalition is hiring a Site Manager to lead our community violence intervention team on Chicago's Far South Side. You will guide the Violence Interrupters, Outreach Workers, and Case Managers who serve Riverdale, Roseland, and West Pullman, direct the response when conflict breaks out, and keep the site running day to day. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor Violence Interrupters, Outreach Workers, and Case Managers, including scheduling, performance, and professional development
• Coordinate real-time response to shootings, active conflicts, and hospital-based intervention
• Provide trauma-informed supervision and regular staff debriefs to prevent burnout
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, faith leaders, and local stakeholders
• Ensure accurate data collection, incident logging, and shift reporting for grant compliance
• Manage the site's daily operations, budget, and resources, and uphold staff safety protocols and organizational policies
• Prepare and present progress reports to the Executive Director and funding partners
• Represent INSIPLE Coalition at community meetings and public safety convenings

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in violence intervention, street outreach, case management, or crisis response

• Strong de-escalation, conflict mediation, and crisis-response skills
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the organization to keep schedules, records, and reports on track
• Comfort with data entry and reporting systems
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call crisis response
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work on-site full-time
• Background check required; a prior record does not automatically disqualify a candidate

Preferred

• Lived experience or deep credibility within Riverdale, Roseland, or West Pullman

About Us:

INSIPLE Coalition, short for Information Needed So I Plan Life Everyday, is a Chicago-based nonprofit whose mission is to prevent violence, strengthen communities, and create pathways to opportunity. Rooted in the Far South Side neighborhoods we serve, we partner with credible messengers, community institutions, and city stakeholders to reduce shootings and homicides, support individuals at the highest risk of violence involvement, and strengthen the community-based infrastructure that makes lasting peace possible. Our work is grounded in the belief that those closest to the problem are closest to the solution, and that healing, not punishment, is the foundation of public safety.

INSIPLE Coalition is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage applications from people with lived experience, including returning citizens.
