EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Must meet career ladder Staff Nurse II criteria for worked area. Two years critical care experience in an ICU or ER setting required. Verification of course completion in accordance with all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines is required. BSN highly preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Must possess a current RN license from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Texas. Must have a current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS Healthcare Provider cards upon hire. AHA instructor cards also accepted in lieu of Provider cards. TNCC certification required upon hire. TNCC instructor certification desired. ENPC optional. ABLS desired University Health
