What We Offer 10 Paid Holidays Paid vacation, sick time, personal and wellness time Medical, dental and vision insurance for those scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week Pet insurance, legal support, and other supplemental insurance Generous tuition reimbursement program 403(b) retirement plan Competitive wages and more… Responsibilities Provide direct clinical services (crisis intervention/de‑escalation, assessment, counseling, family therapy, referrals, and discharge planning) to patients as needed Assist clinical staff in developing treatment/recovery plans that address mental health, substance abuse, education, and vocational rehabilitation Review and approve all facets of discharge planning Ensure treatment operations meet clinical regulations and comply with Medicaid and other reimbursement standards Designate staff to perform tasks required under regulations (evaluation of patients’ needs, development and implementation of treatment/recovery plans, etc.) Conduct regular interdisciplinary case conferences Lead workshops and individual or group therapy sessions as needed, in conjunction with other clinical staff Work with counselors in all areas of their job functions and facilitate open, consistent, skill‑focused clinical supervision and staff development, documenting as needed Oversee and coordinate overall patient case management with applicable state and local social services agencies, legal referral sources and resources, school‑based stakeholders, and community‑based providers of services as needed Review clinical documentation of staff; participate in or lead the clinical case review process; support, monitor, and implement clinical and recovery support programming for all phases of treatment Qualifications Education (Required) Master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling Licenses/Certifications (Required) Independent license issued by NYS (LMSW/LMHC) Experience (Required) Minimum five years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role Experience and knowledge of the OASAS 820 Model and regulations Competencies Leadership Initiative Ethical practices Judgment Relationship management Emotional intelligence Professional boundaries Global and cultural awareness Critical evaluation Problem solving Decision making Communication Teamwork Crisis management Technical capacity Work Environment This job operates in an indoor office environment.
