Structural (Buildings) Engineering Intern Dewberry is currently seeking a Structural (Building) Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support our Building and Facility Structures Group in design and analysis of all types of non-bridge structures in our New York City, NY office. Responsibilities The candidate will work on a wide variety of projects including public and private buildings, structural evaluations, structural repairs, structural upgrades, waterfront structures, flood resiliency, and transit and rail facilities. Required Skills & Required Experience Currently studying a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering is required (focus in Structural Engineering preferred) Applicants should have exposure to related Civil/Structural engineering design, strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Assist with preparation of civil/structural engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications to meet project requirements. Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required. Don't meet every single requirement? Salary Range $18.75/hour - $29.75/hour. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
