Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for performing vascular ultrasound exam(s)/procedures in accordance with established practices and procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Receives direction from: CVT Leadership and providers.

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound technologist program

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years of experience in an ultrasound technologist position, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• ARRT (US) or ARDMS Certification
• BLS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Working knowledge of imaging equipment
• Able to follow Great Falls Hospital and Great Falls Clinic policies and procedures
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Ability to follow and apply written direction
• Attention to detail when performing imaging exam(s)/procedures
• Computer and keyboarding skills
• Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel knowledge
