Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours per week (10:30 AM - 11:00 PM) with potential weekend call shifts (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM).

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for scrub and circulate duties, working collaboratively within a level-one, academic trauma center with various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist in the surgical process by providing professional nursing care.
• Work closely with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role strongly preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required.
• Experience in scrub nursing is strongly preferred.
