This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The position requires experience with neuro, joint replacements, and critical care protocols. Job Details Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS; minimum experience required: 2 years. Education Requirements: RN license; EPIC electronic health record experience required. Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include caring for patients with diagnoses such as neuro procedures, joint replacements, and abdominal surgeries. Must have total joint experience, understanding of PCA pumps, reversal drugs (narcan), sepsis management, and TPN/Lipids administration. Experience with titratable infusions, interpreting telemonitor strips, and working with nurse aides and support staff. Additional orientation includes a 12-hour shift on the day of hire for procedures and computer modules.
