At Butterfly Home Care, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, in-home care for individuals with disabilities, aging adults, and families navigating complex needs. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team and make a difference every day!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation

• Support clients in achieving individualized goals outlined in their service plans

• Accompany clients to community outings, recreational activities, appointments, and social events

• Teach and reinforce independent living skills, communication skills, and community integration

• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment

• Complete accurate daily documentation, progress notes, and required reports

• Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members

• Follow agency policies, procedures, and state regulations

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• At least 18 years of age

• Previous caregiving, DSP, home care, healthcare, or human services experience preferred but not required

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and follow care plans

• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to transport clients to community outings, appointments, recreational activities, and other community-based activities

• Ability to pass criminal background checks and any state-required screenings

• Authorized to work in the United States

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
