Assistant Warehouse Manager

Assistant Warehouse Manager Oversee and coordinate the daily warehouse activities including personnel and productivity, with the goal of meeting or exceeding daily performance expectations. Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Pay Up to $55,000 (based on experience) Required Experience One year minimum previous warehouse experience Forklift operator experience Manlift (cherry picker) operator experience High school graduate or equivalent preferred Requirements Basic computer skills and knowledge of Accellos software Positive attitude and ability to motivate employees Attention to detail Ability to identify letters and numbers Leadership skills and ability Planning, organizing, and follow‑up skills Quality control: accuracy and thoroughness, monitoring own work to ensure quality Adaptability to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands and frequent changes, delays or unexpected events Dependability: consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, solicits feedback to improve performance Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels of the organization Benefits Medical Vision Dental Disability Life Insurance 401 K with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Personal Days Available Employee Discount Casual Dress Code Health Savings Account Tuition Reimbursement Options Available Responsibilities Report safety issues or concerns immediately to management Supervise employees to ensure productivity Ensure that the warehouse is clean, neat, and well organized for efficient work Unload trucks and distribute products to the appropriate area of the warehouse for restocking Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders Stock parts on racks in proper location Pull orders from warehouse stock and distribute parts according to end destination Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory Organize and secure product for transport or movement Load trucks and secure product Administer appropriate disciplinary action as needed and provide input on performance evaluations Monitor hours worked by employees and adhere to allotted hours Report employee absences via computer Manage assigned employees’ timecards Evaluate and administer subordinate employee performance reviews Communicate daily summary email as directed Secure the building at close of business All other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager #J-18808-Ljbffr Meyer Distributing
