Front Desk Ambassador / Receptionist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing startup in the aerospace/defense industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage site access by greeting and welcoming visitors and ensuring only authorized personnel enter the site. 
• Welcome and greet Employees, Contractors, and Guests with a positive attitude.
• Able to work across internal stakeholders from IT, Operations, & Compliance.
• Comfortable interacting & engaging with senior level officials
• Ensure only authorized personnel enter the site.
• Act as a liaison between hosts and new hires/site visitors
• Monitor access control & visitor management.
• Facilitate the check-in and check-out process with site visitors.
• Oversees the ID badge return process.
• Manage additional front desk duties as the position evolves.

  Requirements and Desired Experience:

• High school diploma
• 3+ years of experience as a receptionist or front desk admin
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift, M-F, on site
• Experience working in a security adjacent field, like defense or aerospace is preferred; 
• Familiarity with basic security controls, operating access control and visitor management systems.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure. 
• Trustworthy, and consistently prioritizes an engaging & welcome attitude/disposition.
• Delivers high touch customer service and/or end user experience 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Personal integrity is crucial; this position is expected to sustain operational security.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance if required

 

 

Compensation (DOE) : $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
