Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel ⭐ Position Highlights Specialty: Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics / Postpartum Location: Anaconda, Montana Shift: Nights (NOC) Hours: 36–48 hours/week Contract: 13 Weeks On-Call: 6–8 call shifts every 6 weeks Primarily night shifts with occasional day coverage as needed Requirements Active Montana RN License or qualifying Compact License Minimum 2 years of recent L&D/OB experience Experience in Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, and Postpartum required Required Certifications BLS ACLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate ‍ Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using evidence-based nursing practice. Assist with vaginal deliveries and obstetric emergencies. Provide newborn assessments, education, and family-centered postpartum care. Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and the multidisciplinary OB team.
