Our organization is in search of full-time academic nephrology faculty members to join the Division of Nephrology. These positions focus on delivering exceptional clinical care, engaging in educational activities, and contributing to our academic mission. Successful applicants will become part of the John Sealy School of Medicine, collaborating with a team committed to excellence in nephrology care, clinical education, research, and ongoing program development.

Opportunity Highlights

• Become part of a thriving academic division comprising 15 faculty members, 7 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and 5 fellows, all dedicated to outstanding patient care, education, and research.
• Practice across our four campuses: Galveston, League City, Clear Lake, and Angleton Danbury.
• Deliver comprehensive nephrology care for both inpatients and outpatients, including the management of chronic kidney disease, dialysis, kidney transplantation, and related conditions.
• Instruct and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in both clinical and educational environments.
• Engage with our Nephrology Fellowship Program and Interventional Nephrology Fellowship Program, fostering the next generation of leaders in kidney care.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in internal medicine, critical care, surgery, and other specialties to enhance patient outcomes and care coordination.
• Participate in initiatives focused on quality improvement, patient safety, evidence-based practices, curriculum development, clinical training, and academic programming.
• Contribute to translational and clinical research aimed at improving outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease and transplant recipients.
• Establish an academic focus within a supportive division that encourages innovation, mentorship, and scholarly pursuits.
