Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Fetal Monitoring and Assessment Emergency Response Postpartum Care Time Management Description: Weekly orientation is on Mondays. 48 hours per week guarantees are available. Blocked scheduling is available. The unit profile has 9 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. The electronic health record system used is Centricity and Meditech. The supervisor is Kendra Smith. The patient population includes adults. Common diagnoses include normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, be a team player, and have strong attention to detail. Stamina, strong communication skills, and empathy are also critical. Required education includes a nursing degree. Dress code includes ceil blue scrubs. Non-compliant scrub colors, scrubs with slogans or graphics, and offensive content are unacceptable. Inappropriate footwear is also not allowed.
