About the Position

Job Title: Case Manager Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient case management experience and 2 years of registered nurse experience required License: RN license can be pending at the time of submission Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: 1 year of inpatient case management experience is required. COVID vaccination required, with religious and medical exemptions accepted upon completion of the COVID exemption form signed by a provider for medical reasons. No locals within a 100-mile radius will be accepted. Description: The position requires a Thursday to Sunday schedule. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 on nights and weekends. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend coverage is required. The staff will not float beyond their scope to meet facility needs. A minimum of 1 year of case management experience and 2 years of nursing experience is necessary. If the candidate has only outpatient case management experience, they will be declined. The facility is a community-based hospital recognized as a Level III trauma center and Level I teaching facility. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census consists of approximately 60 patients. Interdisciplinary support services are available, including physical therapy and social services. Please ensure all compliance requirements are met prior to starting. RTO restrictions are in place, with limits on holiday requests and time off during specific periods. Traveled staff must have a valid driver's license uploaded to their file as a compliance requirement.
