Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license without restrictions
• Proven experience in the Operating Room setting (RN-OR/circulator and/or scrub experience)
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Thorough understanding of surgical asepsis and infection prevention protocols
• Ability to adapt swiftly to evolving situations and operate efficiently in a team-driven environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on nursing care to surgical patients prior to, during, and immediately following procedures
• Scrub or circulate during surgeries, maintaining strict adherence to sterile techniques
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in patient status promptly
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures, troubleshoot issues as needed, and assist in maintaining a safe surgical environment
• Offer patient and family support, addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism
