Senior HR Generalist (Hybrid - Dublin, Ohio)

This role blends HR generalist responsibilities with onboarding coordination, employee training, and day‑to‑day administrative support. WHAT YOU’LL DO Serve as a go‑to resource for employees across a range of HR topics including policies, benefits, and employee relations. Support the resolution of employee concerns and issues. Own and continuously improve the onboarding experience. Coordinate with Recruiting to escort new hires through onboarding including duties such as offer letter creation, background check submission, coordinating new hire orientation travel and accommodations. Facilitate in‑person new employee orientation, including preparation of onboarding materials and conducting orientation sessions to ensure a smooth integration of new hires. Coordinate logistics for training sessions and workshops. Manage employment compliance processes, including completing and verifying I‑9 documentation in accordance with federal requirements. Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs that support employee growth and company goals. Assist in organizing employee engagement surveys and feedback sessions. Help plan and execute employee recognition and appreciation programs. Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HR systems. Track and report on key HR metrics (e.g., onboarding progress, training completion, engagement indicators). Support performance management cycles, feedback processes, and internal communications. Provide general administrative support including filing, organizing, and cross‑functional coordination. Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and HR records. Jump into ad‑hoc projects and tasks as needed… no two days are the same here! Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. YOUR LOCATION This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be local to our Dublin, Ohio office. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related experience. 10+ years in an HR Generalist role. HR certification, SRHM or PHR a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Thorough knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal employment laws. Proficiency with HRIS platforms. Ability to build morale, create positive business relationships, and promote corporate culture. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, up to 8 hours per day, at a desk working on a computer. Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.
