Oncology RN in Cleveland, OH

Become an integral part of a specialized 30-bed inpatient unit delivering exceptional care to individuals with malignant hematologic disorders. This dynamic environment offers the unique opportunity to work with patients undergoing stem cell transplants, CAR-T infusions, and participate in innovative research protocols that are advancing the field of oncology care.


Schedule:

• Day/night rotations are every two weeks
• Straight night shifts can be accommodated as well

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license required
• At least 1 year of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience
• Valid ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider card
• Solid critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Adaptability and a team-focused attitude in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Experience with research protocols in oncology preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with malignant hematological illnesses
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and cellular therapy safely per current standards
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond promptly with appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes, side effects, and follow-up care
• Accurately document clinical data and participate in research initiatives as directed
