Contract | Full-Time | 4x10-hour shifts with variable schedule and shared on-call rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the full Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre-operative Clinic
• Float to various outpatient service units based on departmental needs
• Perform peri-operative education and care for patients throughout the surgical continuum
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Support conscious sedation for special procedures as needed by the hospital
• Conduct thorough nursing assessments across Pre-op, PACU, and Phase II settings

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong Pre-operative, PACU, and Phase II recovery skills
• Experience with peri-operative nursing assessment and care
• Ability to recognize and manage post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in endoscopy or day surgery settings
• Familiarity with conscious sedation procedures
• Comfort with a variable schedule and floating across multiple outpatient service areas
