The Junto is a modern-day embodiment of Ben Franklin and his club of the same name. With an emphasis on public gathering spaces, our hotel gives visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists alike a place to come together, exchange ideas, and inspire one another. The Junto will be both a destination and a landmark of the area, helping to define and add value to the future of Columbus.

This individual takes pride when orchestrating an event. The ultimate liaison, a Catering Services Manager is able to pull together all the pieces and departments necessary to execute a successful and memorable event. They are comfortable supporting, managing, and supervising others. This individual is a true visionary who can see the big picture and has the knowledge and experience to take something from pen and paper to reality.

Base salary + bonus plan

Requested Tasks:

• Conduct client tours of spaces
• Create detailed banquet event orders for execution of events
• Work closely with banquet department on operations and event execution
• Monitor group room blocks and pick up, generate detailed resumes for operating departments
• Maintain detailed accounts and communications of contracts, event orders, and invoices

Requested Capabilities:

• Prior Catering Services experience required
• Guest-first mentality; approachable, personable, professional
• Thorough understanding of the property and amenities; work with sales teams on current promotions and packages, as needed
• Effective communication skills across multiple teams
• Organized and effective
