Position:  Customer Service Specialist

Qualifications:

• Passion for delivering service beyond customer expectations.
• Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with strong ownership and urgency.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness to identify opportunities to retain and grow existing accounts.
• Continuous improvement mindset to identify inefficiencies and leverage technology to improve processes.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, customer service, or account management preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with assigned customers, understand their needs, and serve as a reliable point of contact.
• Proactively monitor shipments and service activities, anticipate issues, and provide updates and solutions before customers need to ask.
• Understand customer shipment patterns and changing needs, and work with Sales to identify opportunities to retain and grow existing accounts.Take ownership of customer issues through resolution and consistently deliver service beyond expectations.
• Sort, process, and distribute all documentation for inbound and outgoing orders and direct shipments.
• Responsible for complete order processing, data entry, pickup/delivery scheduling, system entry, communicate with 3PL and trucking, routing and operational milestone updates.
• Manage all aspects of tracking shipments to ensure shipment is moving as scheduled and up date system immediately upon verification.
• Responsible for sending pre-alerts and arrival notices to customers, 3PLpartnersand internal offices.
• Issue invoices to internal offices and customers.
• Provide quotations in response to customers and internal requests including overseas partners.
• Handling and resolving order and operational troubleshooting
• Gather customer feedback and recommend logistics or supply chain improvements that create value.
• Identify process inefficiencies and work with relevant teams to streamline workflows through technology, automation, or system enhancements.
• Perform other jobs as assigned by management.
