Investment Operations AssociateAsset management and holding company is looking for an Associate to join the Investment Operations Team. You'll be joining a nimble, experienced team focused on trade operations and reporting across various structured product asset classes, including private credit, broadly syndicated loans, asset-based leases and loans. Specifically, you'll assist in all stages of trade allocation, settlement, life cycle activity, reporting, and reconciliations. This position involves daily cross-functional collaboration, both internally across teams and externally with broker-dealers, custodians, and service providers. Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting full lifecycle of private credit investments, including trade support, event processing, cash and position reconciliations, deal closings and funding coordinationLiaising with agents, servicers, custodians and counterparties across a range of private credit products to monitor and resolve settlement breaks and exceptionsPartnering with research, portfolio management, fund accounting, and technology to identify process improvements and automate workflowsWorking closely with internal and external parties to address operational needs and drive them to resolutionEnhancing the operational infrastructure to drive scalability, while also maintaining a focus on governance and controlsLeveraging AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making and outputKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to work effectively in a time-sensitive environment with daily interactions across multiple business unitsDemonstrated self-starter who can balance competing priorities, and work both autonomously and as part of a high performing teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skills including taking the initiative to build and enhance controlsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsKeen attention to detail and proven ability to manage high transaction volumes and complex allocationsStrong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of trade lifecycleExperience with order management systems and/or market data a plusQualifications1-3+ years of relevant experience in Trade Management, Investment Operations, or Finance, ideally within a buy-side environmentStrong understanding of bank loans and the trade lifecycle, including primary and secondary closings for direct investments under LSTA/LMA documentation standardsFamiliarity with credit agreement terms and how they translate into day-to-day operational processesAbility to perform detailed data reconciliations across multiple source systemsPrior use of an enterprise LMS, such as Sentry, Allvue, LoanIQ, Wall Street Office or similarBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar fieldProficiency with Blackrock Aladdin preferredPlease submit your resume for consideration!
