Work Location: Los Angeles, CA, USA
Onsite or remote fully on-site work schedule Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays
Salary Range: $36.17 - $45.86 Hourly
Employment Type 2 - Staff: Career Duration indefinitely
As a Phlebotomist of the Support Services Laboratory, your duties include:
- Performs pre-analytical and post-analytical activities and specimen processing duties
- Performs phlebotomy on inpatients and outpatients, including neonatal/pediatric patients; perform EKG in outpatient setting
- Triage all lab samples and requests after verification of appropriate information
- Enter and verify patient and test info into computer
- Generate computer labels for specimens and deliver to appropriate areas
- Prepare samples for transport to referral labs
- Document draws, added tests, and cancelled/rejected specimens
Salary Range: $36.17 - $45.86/hour
