How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver comprehensive bedside care within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Contribute to the ongoing assessment of patient status and reporting findings promptly to the RN or Physician.
• Administer medication and maintain documentation.
• Perform essential laboratory tests and diagnostic clinical tasks as ordered.
• Assist in the coordination of discharge planning and patient/family education.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
