Posting Date 04/24/2026 Location 55200 Virginia Way, Brentwood, Tennessee, 37027, United States of America Senior RPA Developer - Automation Anywhere (IT) Overview The Senior Developer, RPA, serves as the technical anchor for the Robotic Process Automation Center of Excellence (RPA CoE). This role focuses on hands‑on execution and delivering measurable results that advance strategic technology initiatives, while providing a bridge between strategic leadership and team execution. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead hands‑on development and configuration of high‑complexity automations, including transition to agentic workflows (LLM‑based agents, autonomous decision‑making loops). Design and implement advanced integrations with Document Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI to solve complex business problems. Conduct rapid prototyping and technical feasibility assessments for emerging automation technologies, acting as the primary engineer for first‑of‑its‑kind solutions before scaling. Serve as the technical lead for the development team, providing high‑level guidance on complex logic and adoption of IA and agentic design patterns. Perform deep‑dive code reviews and architectural validations to ensure offshore deliverables meet security, performance, and intelligent design standards. Provide technical mentorship, documentation, best practices, and reusable code libraries for advanced automation components. Act as technical point of contact during US afternoon hours for critical production failures, providing timely status updates to stakeholders. Translate complex technical issues into understandable Root Cause Analysis summaries for non‑technical partners. Identify, develop, and recommend best practices and process enhancements to improve efficiency and operational excellence. Propose innovative solutions to reduce technical debt and optimize workflows, and stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Education and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, or related field required; master’s preferred. Minimum 5+ years of technology delivery experience, with at least 3 years in RPA and Intelligent Automation. Mastery of a major RPA platform (Automation Anywhere strongly preferred). Familiarity with agentic/AI frameworks (Python, LLMs, API integration) a significant advantage. Demonstrated ability to manage organizational change and facilitate adoption of modern technologies. Proven success in providing technical oversight to development teams. Good understanding of engineering tools and experience working within technology teams. Project Delivery & Methodologies Hands‑on experience with Jira and Confluence. Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other recognized project delivery methodologies. Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast‑paced environment. Understanding of technology portfolio management principles and governance frameworks. Process Improvement & Communication Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and process mapping. Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and geographically dispersed teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking abilities. Preferred Certifications Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional (Automation 360).
