Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | On-call required (1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month with a 30-minute response time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support and assist with a broad range of surgical procedures including orthopedics, cardiothoracic, vascular, neurology, GYN, urology, general surgery, plastics, spine, trauma, TAVR, and pediatrics
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci Robotics (SI and XI) and MAKO robotic systems
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical record systems
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled, maintaining a 30-minute response time

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Operating Room RN experience in a hospital setting
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Strong communication skills with staff and providers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with DaVinci Robotics surgical systems
• Specialty experience in orthopedics, neurology, and/or vascular surgery
• Prior experience with Meditech or CPN electronic medical record systems
