Job Title: ServiceNow UI Builder Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: Contract Position

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow UI Builder Developer to design, develop, and enhance modern user experiences within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with UI Builder, Next Experience UI, and Configurable Workspaces, along with a solid foundation in ServiceNow development and client-side technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ServiceNow pages, workspaces, and user experiences using UI Builder.
• Customize Next Experience UI and Configurable Workspaces based on business requirements.
• Configure UI Builder components, layouts, data resources, events, client state parameters, and page variants.
• Build and maintain client-side functionality using JavaScript and ServiceNow development best practices.
• Integrate UI Builder pages with ServiceNow tables, Flow Designer, Script Includes, and REST APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues, data-binding problems, component behavior issues, and workspace configuration defects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Ensure UI solutions adhere to ServiceNow platform standards, security requirements, accessibility guidelines, and upgrade-safe development practices.
• Support testing, deployment, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow UI Builder.
• Experience with Next Experience UI and Configurable Workspaces.
• Solid ServiceNow development experience, including: Tables and Forms, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Script Includes.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and client-side development.
• Experience working with UI Builder data resources, events, page parameters, client state parameters, and component configuration.
• Ability to integrate ServiceNow user experiences with REST APIs and backend services.
• Understanding of ServiceNow ACLs, roles, security model, and application scopes.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote contract environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
• Experience with custom application development on the ServiceNow platform.
• Knowledge of platform upgrades, release management, and deployment best practices.
