Clinical Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Operate digital radiography equipment while maintaining image quality standards. Verify patient identity and review clinical history prior to imaging procedures. Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and confidence. Monitor patients throughout examinations while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Ensure radiation protection standards are followed for patients, staff, and visitors. Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when necessary according to established protocols. Coordinate daily imaging workflow to support efficient patient care. Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed during imaging procedures. Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records. Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly. Maintain imaging supplies and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and procedure-ready.
