Stable organization with a strong mission and collaborative culture Opportunity to work within a large and complex organization High visibility across accounting and operational teams Opportunity to contribute to process improvements and financial system initiatives Strong professional development and long-term growth potential Work that directly supports community Senior Accountant Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are accurate and complete Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules Support month-end and year-end close processes Assist with financial reporting and compliance requirements Analyze revenue, expenditures, and balance sheet accounts Perform system balancing activities and resolve discrepancies Provide accounting guidance to internal stakeholders Assist with audits and prepare supporting schedules and documentation Provide training and technical assistance on accounting procedures and financial systems Participate in financial system testing, upgrades, and implementation activities Collaborate with departments to improve processes and strengthen internal controls Senior Accountant Qualifications 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit Experience with detailed financial analysis and large data sets Government Administration experience Education or government background strongly preferred Knowledge of GAAP, governmental accounting practices, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and audits Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment Salary Range $80,000-$98,000 #SeniorAccountant #INSEP2026 #LI-LN1 EB-4651727597 #J-18808-Ljbffr
