DevSecOps Engineer Lead

Job Summary:
The DevSecOps & Cloud Engineering Lead is responsible for providing leadership in DevSecOps practices, cloud operations, and security automation. This role oversees CI/CD pipeline development, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations, release management, and application deployment while ensuring compliance with federal security standards. The position supports cloud environments primarily on AWS and Azure platforms and drives performance monitoring and vulnerability management efforts. Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy and implementation of DevSecOps initiatives.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release automation frameworks.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments and configurations.
- Implement application security and vulnerability management practices.
- Support cloud environment operations, monitoring, and observability solutions.
- Oversee release planning and deployment activities.
- Support Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and ensure security compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience supporting cloud-based application environments.
- 5+ years of experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
- Proficiency with AWS and Azure cloud services.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms and automated deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of Federal security requirements and compliance.
- AWS DevOps Engineer Certification.
- Azure DevOps Certification.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting Department of Justice (DOJ) or other Federal environments.
- Must adhere to federal security and compliance standards.
- Support for Authority to Operate (ATO) and ongoing security audits.
- Work schedule and shift patterns are not explicitly defined; flexibility may be required to support cloud operations and deployment activities.
