Cloud Solution ArchitectMcLane Company is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions that support enterprise business initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native technologies, with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.Develop cloud architecture strategies aligned with business and technical requirements.Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.Lead cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.Collaborate with engineering, security, operations, and business teams to deliver cloud solutions.Establish cloud governance, security, and compliance best practices.Monitor cloud environments and recommend improvements for performance, reliability, and cost optimization.Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across cloud projects.Required QualificationsExperience as a Cloud Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, or related role.Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud architectures.Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and cloud operations.Strong understanding of cloud-native services, containers, and automation practices.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud migration and digital transformation initiatives.Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.Relevant cloud certifications (Google Professional Cloud Architect, Terraform Associate, etc.).Experience working in large enterprise environments.Work ArrangementHybrid work schedule.Candidates should be able to work on-site in either Austin, TX or Temple, TX as required.
