C.T. Technologist - 36h (11am-7:30pm)

Job Summary Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 – 11am to 7:30pm. Under the supervision of the Lead Technologist, the Technologist follows established policies, performs CT protocols, venipuncture, tele‑radiography, completes routine clerical tasks, and assists patients. Applies prescribed ionizing radiation to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients’ illnesses or injuries. Responsibilities Perform CT scans following established protocols; perform venipuncture for contrast administration under the radiologist’s direction; follow hospital and departmental contrast administration policies; complete clerical tasks; assist patients; maintain high technical and informatics knowledge; work productively in a fast‑paced environment; maintain quality patient care and safety. Required Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience Minimum 1–2years of CT experience, preferably in a hospital environment. Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Ability to work productively in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize as needed. High level of technical and informatics knowledge and skill. Ability to perform venipuncture for contrast administration. Adherence to all hospital and departmental contrast administration policies and procedures. Preferred Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience Experience with Siemens and Toshiba CT platforms. PACS experience. Cerner experience (prior Cerner experience a plus). Educational Requirements Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology or Associates degree in Radiologic Technology. License / Certification ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Computerized Tomography. Massachusetts DPH Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and Computerized Tomography. Venipuncture certification provided during the 12‑week probationary period. Salary Salary Range: $35.88 – $55.56 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on work history, experience, skill set, and education.
