Retail Assistant Manager

Job Description

The Retail Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the store manager in all aspects of retail operations. This position involves overseeing daily activities to ensure a smooth and efficient operation while delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

Supervise and guide store staff to ensure high performance
Monitor sales activities to meet or exceed targets
Manage inventory levels and control stock accuracy
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
Conduct training sessions to improve staff skills and knowledge
Handle cash transactions and maintain financial accuracy
Oversee merchandising displays to attract customers
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in retail management
