The Position:

As a Campaign & Events Specialist, you will be responsible for executing integrated marketing campaigns and coordinating events that support Merit’s growth initiatives across advisor marketing, client engagement, and business development.

This role plays a key part in bringing marketing strategy to life by managing campaign logistics, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and ensuring seamless execution across channels and regions. You will work closely with the Integrated Marketing, Growth Marketing, and Regional Marketing teams to support B2B (advisor/M&A), B2C (investor/prospect), and internal communications initiatives.

Your ability to manage multiple moving pieces, stay organized under pressure, and execute with precision will be essential in supporting a high-performing marketing organization that operates at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Coordination:

• Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across email, events, digital, and regional initiatives.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders to ensure campaigns are launched on time and executed effectively.
• Assist in building and deploying campaigns using marketing automation tools and pre-built templates.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all campaign components and channels.
• Track campaign execution and support follow-up activities, including lead routing and reporting.

Event Planning & Execution:

• Plan and execute advisor workshops, client events, conferences, and regional marketing events.
• Manage all event logistics, including venue coordination, vendor management, invitations, materials, and on-site execution.
• Partner with Regional Marketing Managers and Specialists to align events with local strategies and advisor needs.
• Oversee post-event follow-up, including communications, lead tracking, and coordination with sales teams.
• Establish and maintain event execution standards and best practices across regions.

Regional & Advisor Marketing Support:

• Act as a key execution partner to Regional Marketing Managers and Specialists when working with the integrated team.
• Support local marketing initiatives by coordinating campaign and event-related activities.
• Ensure marketing efforts at the regional level are executed consistently and aligned with firmwide strategy and brand standards.
• Assist advisors with event-related marketing needs, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.

Project Management & Workflow Coordination:

• Manage multiple campaigns and events simultaneously, maintaining clear timelines and priorities.
• Track deliverables, identify risks, and proactively address potential delays or issues.
• Coordinate across creative, content, digital, and growth marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution.
• Maintain organized workflows within project management systems and contribute to process improvements.

Process Improvement & Scalability:

• Identify opportunities to streamline campaign and event execution processes.
• Help develop repeatable workflows, templates, and checklists to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Contribute to building scalable systems that support increasing demand across regions and business lines.

Compensation: Merit Financial Advisors offers competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, location, and market data. Where required by applicable law, salary ranges will be provided during the hiring process.





REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, campaign coordination, or event planning
• Proven ability to manage events and/or multi-step marketing campaigns
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Experience with marketing tools (CRM, email platforms, project management systems) preferred
• Experience in financial services or professional services is a plus
