We're seeking an experienced Structural & Payload Design Engineer to support the design, integration, and development of aircraft interior and payload systems for a leading aerospace program.

In this role, you'll work across the entire product lifecycle, from concept and 3D design through manufacturing, testing, certification, and production support. You'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing to ensure designs meet technical, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop aircraft interior and payload components using 3D CAD tools
• Create and maintain engineering models, drawings, and product documentation
• Support design integration, testing, validation, and certification activities
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing to optimize designs for production
• Resolve engineering issues throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with FAA and industry standards
• Participate in continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Materials, or a related Engineering discipline
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering, design, integration, or certification
• Experience with aircraft interiors, payload systems, structures, or mechanical design
• Proficiency with CATIA or other 3D CAD software
• Knowledge of FAA Part 25 and/or EASA regulations is preferred
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
