Overview A Washington hospital looking for a board-certified radiologist with fellowship training in interventional radiology (IR) for a locum tenens position at a hospital-based practice in Washington. The schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with call coverage for the entire week. The role involves handling an average of 8-11 cases daily, with a high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies. Responsibilities Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiography, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound guidance as needed. Perform angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, thrombolysis, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, and kyphoplasty. Manage an average of 8-11 cases daily in an adult patient population. Provide care with a hospital-based IR team and participate in on-call coverage for the entire week.
