Senior Wastewater Construction Inspector In the role of Senior Wastewater Construction Inspector, you will: Conduct and document observations of construction as projects progress for civil infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipelines. Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed. Collaborate with field representatives or Project Managers. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies or conflicts. Serve as the most senior inspector on projects as needed. Perform other duties as required. Physical Expectations/Requirements Must be able to inspect any work on site without physical assistance (e.g., ladders, man‑lifts, underground structures, traverse uneven and irregular surfaces) except that which would normally be provided by contractor personnel. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications. Must be able to effectively communicate in person, by telephone, and via email. Must be able to work in minimally supervised or unsupervised environments. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations, scale distances from plans, and measure ground and vertical distances. Must have a valid Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications Relevant industry certifications. Ability to interpret construction schedules. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (or 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience may substitute for a diploma). Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
