Data Warehouse Analyst

Job Requirements/Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in business intelligence engineering and advanced Power BI dashboard development.

• Proficiency in Snowflake cloud data platform tuning, compute optimization, and advanced SQL querying.

• Experience with star schema design, dimensional data modeling, and constructing robust semantic models.

• Experience in developing complex DAX calculations, Power Query dataflows, and paginated reports.

• Experience with implementing Snowflake RBAC security, warehouse sizing, and data governance policies.

• Experience in managing metadata, documenting data lineage, and executing CI/CD version control for BI assets.

• Excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into technical designs and collaborate with stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance enterprise Power BI dashboards, dataflows, and semantic models.

• Build advanced DAX measures and complex analytical logic to satisfy robust end-user reporting requirements.

• Write and optimize sophisticated SQL queries utilizing CTEs and window functions to retrieve Snowflake data.

• Collaborate directly with data engineering teams to structure fact and dimension tables for optimal BI consumption.

• Integrate Power BI with Snowflake utilizing appropriate connection modes to ensure query folding and reliability.

• Document precise data lineage, metadata standards, and technical report specifications across enterprise analytics assets.

• Troubleshoot performance issues proactively across DAX calculations, SQL queries, and Snowflake compute layers.
