Position Overview:
MLR Healthcare is seeking a certified Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. The ideal candidate will excel in delivering radiation therapy treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments according to established protocols and physician instructions.
- Prepare and position patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, following strict safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Monitor patients for side effects, offering necessary support and education.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) and state licensure in Illinois.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
