About the Position: The individual chosen for this position will provide direct care services to each person living in the Richton Community Homes. Provide active treatment in the areas of daily living, household skills, vocational skills, communication and physical therapy; perform cooking and housekeeping duties. Applicant must have a valid Mississippi Drivers License and a safe driving record as outlined in the Ellisville State School Manual.
What you'll need to be Successful: Efficient organizational and time management skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Positive work morale. Ability to be flexible in thinking and problem solving. Realistic expectations about the difficulty and challenges of the work. Ability to handle an often-unpredictable work environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency, and 0-1 years of experience, may require Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation or Direct Care Training as required by the hiring agency.
