Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Pay: $45,000–$50,000 per year

About the Role

The HR Group is hiring a Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to own our client invoicing,

collections, and account reconciliation while supporting each company's accountant and keeping

the billing team organized. You'll keep our financial records accurate, make sure money moves on

time, and be the friendly but firm point of contact when payment questions come up. This is a

hands-on role with real ownership, and your work directly supports our cash flow.

What You'll Do

Billing & Accounts Receivable

• Assist each company's accountant with billing

• Attend billing meetings and help keep the team organized and on track

• Create and send accurate client invoices on schedule

• Track outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts by phone and email

• Escalate delinquent accounts per company procedure while keeping client relationships

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, or a related

accounting role

• Working knowledge of accounting principles

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Business Central is a plus)

• Strong written and verbal communication, including comfort handling difficult payment

conversations

• High accuracy across large transaction volumes

• Strong organization and follow-through, and discretion with sensitive financial information

Nice to Have

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
