Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The role involves providing high-quality care to patients within a fast-paced environment. The unit has 19 beds plus a 4-bed psychiatric pod, with a patient ratio of 4:1.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vitals and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment such as Hillrom and Stryker devices.
• Document patient care activities in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of TN.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications are mandatory.
• Strong skills in sepsis and stroke care.
• Experience in emergency care is preferred.
