Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,326 per week

Job Overview American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in an outpatient multidisciplinary therapy department in Festus, MO. Assignment Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Perform initial assessments and develop plans of care for each patient upon receiving a physician's order, in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care. Conduct 60‑minute PT evaluations and 30‑minute treatment sessions; flexibility based on patient needs is appropriate. Provide 1:1 therapy; no double booking or techs treating patients. Meet a productivity expectation of 80% patient care time per shift. Work day shift, 5×8‑hour schedule; weekend hours as needed; rotating holiday coverage and float duties required. Use Epic EMR. Qualifications Active Missouri PT license (or equivalent). Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience in a relevant specialty. BLS certification required (no certs expiring within first 30 days of assignment, unless renewal provided). Experience in an outpatient therapy setting preferred. Team player with excellent communication skills and flexibility. Valid U.S. Social Security Number required. No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months. Flu vaccination required for assignments running November 1–April 1; declinations/exceptions must be client‑approved. Additional Information Black scrubs required; no other attire acceptable. Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment. Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible but will be placed at a reduced bill rate; limited to 3 consecutive 13‑week contracts.
