Territory Manager-Annapolis

Location: Annapolis, MD | Schedule: Full-time, field-based (mobile store operation) Overview An established, family-operated industrial supply company is seeking a Territory Manager to bring its mobile store directly to customers across a defined territory. The company serves a wide range of sectors—including transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment—by delivering industrial hardware and supplies on-site. This role is central to the company's direct-to-customer sales model, combining relationship‑building with hands‑on product delivery. What you’ll do Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and outreach to businesses near existing customers Conduct cold‑calling and face‑to‑face visits with both new and existing prospects Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store itself Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, marketing, and overall operation of the mobile store Submit accurate and complete daily business reports covering sales orders and prospect calls Maintain up‑to‑date customer contact records, including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses, using company software Required qualifications Must reside within the assigned territory (Annapolis, MD area); relocation is not available Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle Must maintain a clean driving history Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis, as required to operate the mobile store High school diploma or equivalent required Strong, stable work history with no pattern of frequent job changes; ideally no more than 3 companies over the past 10 years Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment Preferred qualifications Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred Why this role This position offers the opportunity to run an independent, mobile sales territory serving a diverse mix of industrial customers, combining autonomy with a hands‑on, relationship‑driven sales approach. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
