Position Title: Special Education Teacher – Part Time (M-TH) – .5FTE Start Date: Aug 5, 2026 Reports to: BOCES Executive Director and Principal Job Description Blue Sky BOCES seeks a part time Mild/Moderate Special Education teacher for King Murphy Elementary for the 2026-27 school year. Clear Creek School District is on a 4-day a week schedule, Monday through Thursday. This position begins on Aug 5, 2026. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strong instructional knowledge with a focus on research-based instructional strategies, curriculum alignment, and progress monitoring that results in increased student achievement for students with disabilities Ability to effectively co-teach with general education staff Serve as case manager and lead the IEP team to achieve student learning goals Proven communication skills that build strong relationships with students, staff, the community, and colleagues Successful implementation of PLC, RTI, and PBS processes to achieve student learning goals Effective organizational skills with attention to detail Prepare progress reports and year-end evaluation, administering pre- and post-tests as appropriate and necessary Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Active CDE teaching license with certification as a Special Education Generalist (ages 5-21) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits Based on experience within the guidelines of the Blue Sky BOCES salary range.
